1.Develop basic and detailed mechanical designs 2. Assist in developing scope of work, engineering soft cost design estimates and resource plans 3. Generate BOQ Bill Of Quantities of various mechanical jobs 4. Review mechanical contractor claims 5. Prepare designs and analysis in support of construction contract package 6. Generate and edit mechanical specifications of various projects 7. Ensure conformance to department standards and procedures 8. Follow up site work execution. 9. Assist in monitoring performance and earned value against the project design schedule and budget 10. Take responsibility for obtaining approvals when required 11. Mechanical bid package preparation, tendering, and follow up 12. Responsible for all records and registers of jobs under his responsibilities 13. Perform reviews of work product of other department staff or consultants. 14. Work independently with minimum supervision
Qualifications 1.Professional registration in Mechanical Engineering 2. Basic computer skills and advanced knowledge of MS Office 3. Proficient in AutoCAD 4. Working knowledge of water supply and drainage systems 5. Working knowledge of HVAC systems 6. Working knowledge of fire fighting systems 7. Working knowledge of handling systems 8. Working knowledge of machinery and fluid flow systems 9. Detailed familiarity with mechanical design and analysis software 10. Strong interpersonal skills
